Alison King wins Best Soap Actress, TV Choice Awards 2015

Alison King has won the award for Best Soap Actress in this year's TV Choice Awards. Alison plays Carla Connor in Coronation Street

The TV Choice Awards were held tonight, Monday 7 September in that London.

Winners were announced live on stage at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Corrie red carpet pics: TV Choice Awards 2015

Tonight, the TV Choice Awards 2015 takes place in that London.  Corrie are nominated in four categories as follows.

Coronation Street is nominated for Best Soap.  Lucy Fallon (Bethany) and Sean Ward (Callum) are both nominated for Best Newcomer.  Alison King (Carla) is nominated for Best Actress and Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald) is nominated for Best Actor.
